Avant Toi

Avant Toi, founded in 1994 in Genoa, Italy, by siblings Fiorella Ghignone and Mirko Ghignone, is a luxury knitwear brand connected to the family’s Liapull cashmere group (est. 1955). As creative director, Mirko Ghignone works with high-quality Italian cashmere using techniques like hand-painting, spray-dyeing, and garment-dyeing to give each piece a unique and artistic identity.

The brand reflects a strong artistic direction, combining colour, texture, and craftsmanship to create distinctive knitwear suited for workwear and refined settings. As part of premium women’s clothing, it focuses on quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. All items are made in Italy using eco-cashmere and recycled yarns, along with biodegradable packaging and waste-reducing methods, with an emphasis on durability over fast fashion.
